Doxa Theos Ministries: Living Out the Love of Jesus
At Doxa Theos Ministries, we believe the love of Jesus is far too beautiful to keep to ourselves. We have been forgiven, healed, and welcomed by God, and we sense a joyful responsibility to “Pay It Forward” — to let His love flow through our words, our hands, and our everyday lives. This ministry exists as a simple but sincere response of gratitude to God the Father for all He has done for us in Christ.
We are not a distant organization or an abstract idea. We are followers of Jesus who want our neighbors, communities, and the nations to experience the same tender mercy we have received. Our heart is that every act of service, every resource shared, every conversation, and every quiet prayer would be an expression of the living presence of Christ among us.
Our Biblical Center
The heartbeat of Doxa Theos Ministries is captured in this passage of Scripture, which shapes how we think, how we serve, and how we treat every person we meet:
Colossians 3:12–17 (NKJV)
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
These verses remind us that the Christian life is not merely an idea to be believed, but a way of being clothed in Christ-like love. We are called to put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, and patience; to forgive as we have been forgiven; and to let the peace of God rule in our hearts. For us, this means that ministry is not something we do only in set times and places — it is the posture of our whole lives.
As the word of Christ dwells richly in us, we want it to overflow in worship, in thankful hearts, and in practical, sacrificial service. And in everything, whether in word or deed, our desire is to act in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Our Tagline: The Heart Behind What We Do
Put simply, Doxa Theos Ministries exists:
express the agape love of our Lord Jesus demonstrated to us through our actions towards others as thanks to God the Father.
Agape is the self-giving, sacrificial love that moved Jesus to lay down His life for us. It is not sentimental, shallow, or self-serving. It is a love that moves toward others, especially in their need, with compassion, truth, and grace. Our ministry is simply an overflow of this love. Every project, every partnership, and every act of service is meant to be a living “thank You” to God, a visible sign of the invisible grace we have received.
Our Focus Areas: How We “Pay It Forward”
To live out this calling in a clear and practical way, the Lord has led us to focus on several key areas of ministry. Each one is a channel through which the love of Jesus can reach real people with real needs.
- Evangelical Christian Educational Resources
We assist in the development, writing, publishing, acquisition, and distribution of evangelical Christian educational material, including the Holy Bible. Our desire is to help people encounter the truth and grace of God through:- Bibles and Bible study tools that are accessible and faithful to Scripture
- Books and guides that help new and mature believers grow in Christ
- Resources for churches, small groups, and families to deepen their discipleship
- Gospel Communication and Testimony
We promote, via social media and other mass communication channels — both electronic and print — the salvation available only through our Lord Jesus and the Godly living that naturally expresses itself in love toward others. This includes:- Sharing the good news of Jesus in ways that are clear, compassionate, and biblically grounded
- Encouraging testimonies that highlight God’s transforming grace in real lives
- Offering thoughtful, Scripture-shaped perspectives on everyday life and cultural questions
- Compassionate Assistance for Those in Need
We provide financial and other assistance through loving actions to those in need, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or other physical characteristics and regardless of current moral or religious beliefs. Our help may include:- Transportation to essential appointments, work, or safe shelter
- Physical goods such as food, water, clothing, and household necessities
- Access to shelter or temporary housing solutions
- Support for physical and emotional safety, including counseling connections
- Medicine and medical equipment when resources are limited
- Free Practical Services for the Vulnerable
We offer free services to those who are not physically, financially, or otherwise able to provide for themselves, again without discrimination of any kind. These practical acts of love include:- Lawn mowing and other landscaping for those unable to maintain their property
- Running errands for individuals who are homebound or limited in mobility
- Trash and debris removal to create safer, cleaner living environments
- Installation and battery replacement in smoke and CO2 detectors to promote safety
- Other forms of miscellaneous physical labor as needs arise
- Community Donation Drives
We sponsor, coordinate, and host donation drives for blood, food, clothes, and other needed items within the local and greater-area community. Through these efforts, we seek to:- Mobilize believers and neighbors to give generously from what God has entrusted to them
- Bridge gaps between those who have resources and those who lack them
- Demonstrate the unity and compassion of the body of Christ in tangible ways
A Simple Invitation
Doxa Theos Ministries is, at its core, a family of grateful people who want to reflect the glory of God (“doxa Theos”) by loving others as He has loved us. Whether you are exploring faith, looking for a way to serve, or in need of prayer or practical help, you are welcome in this story.
Our prayer is that as you encounter this ministry, you will not simply see programs or projects, but the living heart of Jesus reaching out to you. May His tender mercies, kindness, and peace meet you right where you are, and may His love overflow from your life into the lives of others.
